Randall Jail Vaccine

Randall County Jail Medical staff received a sufficient number of Moderna Covid 19 vaccinations to make the first inoculation available to inmates in custody.

They also have enough to ensure a seamless process for inmates to receive a second dose in the event they are released from custody before they are eligible for the booster.

Qualified staff are giving the shots to 137 inmates who confirmed last week they want to receive one

Following the first round of vaccinations, Medical staff will request further doses when groups of ten inmates have requested the vaccine.

Inmates who receive the first inoculation while in custody and remain in jail four weeks later will be able to get the second dose at the facility.

And, inmates who get the first shot outside of the Randall County Jail but are in custody within the four weeks following the inoculation will be able to get the second dose.
