Randall County Burn Ban Has Ended

The burn ban for Randall county was lifted by the Randal County Commissioner’s court on August 9th.

This ban lifts the restriction for burning trash or waste plant growth, provided there is no local governing agency for refuse pickup.

Items that can be burned include kitchen waste, untreated lumber, packaging, and plant trimmings.

Items that cannot be burned include tires, electrical insulation, treated lumber, and plastics and nonwooden construction materials.

Burning must take place during the day one hour after sunrise and before sunset with constant supervision, and the Randall County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department must be aware of the burning prior to starting.
