Public Meeting Set For Downtown Strategic Plan and Urban Design Standards

A public meeting has been set for proposed amendments to the Downtown Strategic Plan and Urban Design Standards.
The City of Amarillo adopted the Downtown Amarillo Strategic Action Plan in 2008 to provide a vision for the revitalization of downtown.
Prepared through a public process in partnership with Center City Amarillo and downtown stakeholders, it established a strategic framework for redevelopment along with specific action steps for implementation.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday September 10 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 601 S. Buchanan Street in Room 105.
