Powell Running For Mayor

Amarillo’s Mayor Pro Temp has announced she is running for Mayor in the May election.

Freda Powell says she’s ready and is going to push forward to continue growth in the city.

She stated she’s standing on these priorities.

Safety of our community, financial stewardship, Building on the city’s recent recruitment efforts, and success to be a preferred place to locate a business.

Neighborhood revitalization, and most of all respect for all citizens. Meaning connecting and working to solve problems collectively and create a future full of opportunity.
