Potter County Sheriff’s Office Bust Nets Suspect, Drugs and Firearms
The Potter County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect and taken drugs and a firearm off the streets following an investigation.
The Special Operations Division of the Sheriff’s Office searched a home in the 5000 block of Leigh Avenue Monday and found 470 grams of methamphetamine as well as a 9MM pistol.
Deputies also found multiple small baggies and scales consistent with narcotics trafficking.
44-year-old Cederick Lynn Landers was taken into custody by deputies and booked into the Randall County Detention Center on charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, driving without a valid license and other city warrants.
The Sheriff’s Office says the search was conducted as part of a larger investigation into drug trafficking throughout the Panhandle.
