Potter County Fatal

The Texas Department of Public Safety is looking into a head-on auto crash in Potter County from over the weekend.

DPS says on Saturday, at 1;30 a.m., 36-year-old Dustin Lorenzano died after plowing his Chevy Equinox into a tractor-trailer, head-on.

Investigators say the Equinox was heading the wrong way in the eastbound lane of I-40 when the accident happened.

Lorenzana’s vehicle traveled into the center median and came to a final rest against the cable barrier facing southwest. The truck tractor traveled into the center median, through the cable barrier, and into the westbound lane facing east, where it came to a final rest.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
