Potter County Electronic Voting

Potter County will continue to use the electronic election system.

Monday, County officials voted to keep the electronic voting versus the paper ballots due to cost.

County Commissioners think the safety and accuracy of the electronic system provides county residents with quicker results.

Potter County Judge Nancy Tanner tells “The Chat”, that the current system is very reliable and it’s hard to justify throwing it away.

The Commissioners agreed to keep the current system and to keep voting methods the same, with public education and transparency helping to increase confidence in election integrity.
