Potter County Buildings To Closed To Public Due To High Numbers Of Covid

Potter County commissioners are ordering all county buildings to close to the public because of increase Covid-19 cases in the County.

Judge Nancy Tanner says the order takes place on Tuesday, November 10th at 12:01 a m. The buildings will be closed for two weeks.

During the closure, courts will continue on a virtual basis and other county offices will continue to work as they have throughout the outbreak.

Judge Tanner says the county continues to see an alarming uptick of Covid-19 infection rates. She goes on to say our hospitals are full and their resources are stressed beyond belief.

The county will reevaluate the necessity of the closure and make an announcement on Friday, November 20.
