Post Floods: SBA Makes Disaster Funds Available

The Small Business Administration is making low-interest loans available to Texas businesses and residents affecting by the heavy rains and flooding that occurred May 27th to June 14th.
Acting on its own authority, the SBA issued a disaster declaration in response to the declaration it received from Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
The counties included and eligible for the disaster assistance include Armstrong, Carson, Deaf Smith, Moore, Oldham, Potter and Randall.
Disaster loans of up to $200 thousand dollars are available to homeowners. Funds are also available for renters suffering property loss.
