Possible Child Abduction

Amarillo police is asking for help on finding a child who has been possibly abducted in east Amarillo.

Police officials say at 6;50 p.m, near Southeast 13th and Roberts, witnesses saw an older man get out of a van and walk over  to the child, grabbing her in it, and driving southbound on Roberts

The child is described as a light-skinned girl, about 5 years old, with long blonde hair and wearing a pink dress with black shorts.

The man is described as an older, tall dark-skinned man with a gray beard and black hat.

He was also wearing black jeans and a hoodie, with Nike shoes

The van is described as being long and white, short in height with black side windows and with some kind of papers on the sides.  

The APD is asking anyone in the neighborhood that has outdoor Ring doorbells or cameras to check and see if you caught any video of the child or van. Call APD  if you have any information or footage at 378-3038
