Pirtle Comes Out On Top In Runoff

Tim Pirtle took to social media Tuesday night thanking supporters for their efforts to get him on the November ballot for the Texas 108th District Court. Judge Doug Woodburn did not seek another term at that bench.

Pirtle and Sam Brown Silverman were forced into a runoff following the March primaries in a very close race among all candidates for the District 108 Court position. Pirtle and Brown-Silverman were the highest vote getters.

The runoff was held Tuesday, with Pirtle reported to have received just over 66 percent of the vote.

Pirtle is not expected to face any challengers in November.
