The Potter County Sheriff’s Office is returning to its 16th annual Citizens Academy in September.
The 12-week academy will be every Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. starting on Sept. 3.
Each and every week, participants will be introduced to a new team member, to learn about their divisions and responsibilities.
Participants will also get a chance for a ride-along with a deputy, tour the jail, and practice on the gun range.
Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
