Pampa Fire Kills One, Severely Injures Another

According to the City of Pampa, a fire Thursday afternoon caused the death of one person, a second person was transported to Lubbock with severe burns.

Around 4:15 p.m., fire crews were dispatched to a call on Browning Avenue near North Sloan Street. There they encountered a structure fire. The Hoover Fire Department assisted in bringing that fire under control.

The cause of that blaze is still unknown, and is being investigated by the Pampa Fire Department, and the State Fire Marshal.
