Pampa Auto Crash

A  Pampa man had to be airlifted to the hospital, Sunday afternoon after a car crash.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says the wreck happened at 5:00 p.m. on S H 70, a quarter mile north of Loop 171.

A Chevrolet Pickup truck was headed northbound on SH 70, behind a Ford Expedition and according to witnesses the truck was driving erratically and smashed into the rear of the Expedition, causing it to skid and roll over.

The Tahoe ended up in a ditch. The driver of the pickup was  airlifted to the hospital where he’s listed as stable

Those in the Expedition received some minor injuries and were also taken to the hospital via private vehicle.

DPS Says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
