One Person Injured After Tuesday Crash

U.S. 287 Car Crash
One person was airlifted to an Amarillo hospital after a crash Tuesday afternoon.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says the crash took place at 3 pm near the potter and Carson County line and involved 2 semi-trucks.
Eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 were closed and traffic was diverted onto the service road.
The one person is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, the DPS continues to investigate this accident.
