One Juvenile Shot Dead, One Arrested

One Juvenile is dead and another is in jail after a shooting Saturday.

The Amarillo Police Department was called to an apartment complex in the 4100 block of South West 45th on a medical call.

On scene, officers found 16-year- old Joe Anthony Moreno dead inside an apartment from a single gunshot wound.

Detectives learned that 17-year-old Kelvin Keiyaun McGowan was the suspect in the shooting and was still on scene.

McGowan was booked into the Randall County Jail on a charge of murder.
