The trooper asked to search the vehicle, where a K-9 unit discovered a cardboard box holding nine bricks of fentanyl and a brick of heroin.

Officials then got a warrant to search the suspects’ phones where they discovered a video showing Valdez telling Rosales to take the blame and to tell the troopers Rosales was the one who packed the car.
