Ogallala Commons Hosting Playa Field Day

Ogallala Commons will be hosting a Playa Field Day on Tuesday, July 26 from 9:30 am until 1:15 pm in Panhandle.

Any interested individuals are invited to attend the event that will cover information about playa ecosystems, playa restoration programs, as well as water education ideas for elementary students.

Doors open at 9 am at the Carson County War Memorial Building located at 500 Main Street, and refreshments will be provided.

Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to a variety of playa-related presentations from industry experts along with Dr. Darryl Birkenfeld, Executive Director of Ogallala Commons.

Lunch will be provided at 11:30 am before groups head to a playa located just outside of Panhandle.
