NTX School District: Just Two Injured In HS Shooting

(Arlington, TX) — There may be just two injuries from a North Texas high school shooting. Mansfield ISD says one Timberview High School student and a staff member needed treatment after shots rang out in a classroom this morning. Arlington police had previously said there were four total injuries. It’s not known how serious the injuries are, but Mansfield police said several people had to undergo surgery. Law enforcement is looking for Timothy Simpkins in connection with the shooting. It’s believed he got into a fight with someone in a classroom before pulling a gun.
