NSP Chairman ‘The Covid Crisis Has Made Us Step Back And Look at Things From a Different Perspective’

The National Sorghum Producer’s recently welcomed Olton resident Kody Carson as the Chairman for their Board of Directors.

He sat down and visited with KGNC Ag News Director Shannon Gray on the value of being involved in commodity groups, like NSP, and what it’s been like to farm/ranch in the middle of a global pandemic.

“The covid crisis has made us step back and look at things from a different perspective as humans and as consumers. But, from the agricultural side…what I’ve noticed in Olton: life went on. Everyone is concerned about it, everyone is trying to be careful, but we didn’t have the luxury of stopping.”
