Northside Toy Drive

The Northside Toy Drive is starting it’s kick-off event in  August by hosting an event in early August to sell tables for its formal Black Tie Affair fundraiser in December.

Elton Bradley, NTD president and founder, says the  Black Tie Affair is the ultimate party with a purpose, but the real fun is that following Saturday when we get to share the joy of Christmas with neighborhood children.

Bradley says that the event sold out of tables in four hours last year, so early arrival was suggested. The event will include live music, casino games, dinner, and cocktails.

Organizers noted that Dec. 14 will feature the 12th annual Christmas Toy Giveaway at Palo Duro High School activity center. During the giveaway, local children between the ages of two and 12 years old will be able to choose a toy for the Christmas holiday and visit with Santa Claus. No registration will be required, but children must be present.

Prices for table sales are Diamond Tables $500 – Tables seat eight people and come with a buffet, and VIP Tables $1,000 – Tables seat eight and come with a plated dinner.
