No License Fishing On Saturday

So you like to fish. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is making that possible on Saturday with people being able to do so on public waterways in Texas without a fishing license.
Free Fishing Day is an annual event that encourages Texans to get outdoors, enjoy nature, and go fishing with family and friends.
In the Amarillo area, this includes lakes like Medi-Park, Caprock Canyons, and Red River.
TPWD, says the lakes support recreational opportunities for 4.1 million anglers annually through a fishing industry including about 51,380 jobs.
In recognition of Free Fishing Day, the TPWD will also offer other programs offering multiple resources for fishing opportunities to anglers of all skill levels and ages in Texas
