Dumas City Council To Meet In Special Session Tuesday
The Dumas City Council will hold a Special Meeting Tuesday morning at 11:30 in the Commission Chambers at 124 East 7th Street. The Council will consider adopting the 2026/2027 annual Budget on the second reading. They will also consider adopting the 2026 Ad Valorem Tax Rate on the second reading. The Dumas Taxpayer Impact Statement says that the Median Value Homestead Property Tax rate could increase by $24.00 in 2027. There will be a time for Public Comments.
