Amarillo Parks & Recreation Board To Meet Wednesday
The Amarillo Parks and Recreation Board will meet Wednesday at 1:30pm in the City Council Chambers at 623 South Johnson. The Board will consider action on the proposed Park Master Plan for a park in the Eastridge neighborhood area. They will present an overview of the master plan, including the proposed vision, improvements and recommendation. The Board will consider an application to rename East Park and will review the application and provide a recommendation to the City Council who will make the final decision. Board members will discuss safety concerns and conditions at the Rick Klein Complex. The Board will also discuss Summer Programs and Events that have taken place and review participation and outcomes. There will be a time for public comments limited to three minutes for each speaker.
