Council, Staff Attend Strategic Workshop Friday
The Amarillo City Council and senior staff members took part in a 2-hour Strategic Planning Workshop Friday morning moderated by Kevin Johnson of Express Pros Training.
The workshop picked up on where they left off a couple weeks ago when council and staff identified four specific areas of focus when considering what success might look like over the next 10 months – the time left before the next election.
Areas of focus are:
- Public Safety
- Infrastructure
- Customer Service
- Quality of Life
- Intentional Growth\Vision (added by Johnson)
The workshop wrapped with Mayor Cole Stanley noting Express Pros Training and City staff will continue to work together and report back to the council when ready.
