Councilman Les Simpson (P4) has been outspoken about his want for written identification of what a forensic audit of City of Amarillo will focus on? Is there money some think could be found? If so, where? During his appearance on MSWMJ this morning, Simpson said he is good with a forensic audit, it is more about knowing the scope going in, not after a firm is hired. Councilman Simpson started the hour with questions he had for Michael J, including why MJ found some recent comments to be “disgusting” and other comments made and/or directed at Simpson. The two also announced that CIty Manager Grayson Path, Deputy City Manager/COO Andrew Freeman, and Assistant City Manager Donny Hooper will be Michael J’s guests for both hours Thursday.
