Amarillo Police Respond To Armed Man At 9th And Coulter
Amarillo Police officers responded at 6:04pm Monday to the area of 9th and Coulter regarding a man in a field north of the hospitals who was possibly armed. APD negotiators and the SWAT Team were able to successfully get the suspect who had a warrant into custody. He has been identified as 26-year-old Anthony Ramirez, who was booked in the Potter County Jail for the warrant for Intimidation and the on scene charge of Resisting arrest. The investigation is ongoing by the Amarillo Police Department.
