Show 7.29.26 Hour Two: Not Were They Not Ready, They Hired A ‘Special Adviser’ To Help Them!
In the second hour of the show today, we learned CM Grayson Path brought former Amarillo CFO Laura Storrs on as a ‘Special Adviser’. At least one City Council member mentions a one-on-one conversation he had with Path expressing his concern over public ‘negativity’ that might arise once it is known Storrs was hired as a ‘Special Adviser’. Councilman David Prescott seemed befuddled by the notion there would be negativity. Keep in mind Laura Storrs is at the center of much of what has been learned when it comes to the discovery of unspent project money – in the millions, what has been described as ‘far too many transfers’, even some transfers perhaps not meant to be discovered.
