Show 7.29.26 Hour One: Fiscal 26/27 Budget Update, “We Aren’t Ready”
In the first hour of the show this morning, Michael J begins his take on Tuesday’s City Council Meeting, specifically the FY2026-2027 Budget Update that was originally scheduled for this week. City Manager Grayson Path-who offered the revamped City Organization Flow Chart just prior, told the council while good people were on the team, he just wasn’t comfortable bringing the dais what they had to this point. In effect, admitting they just weren’t ready. However, staff did something they were proud as punch about! (see Hour Two).
