Civic Center Completed Projects Leave Money For Other Projects, City Organizational Chart On Tuesday’s Agenda
The Amarillo City Council meets Tuesday, 3 p.m. in Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall. Among the items noted on the agenda are more than $7 million for Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport needs. Most of the funds come by way of grants, with minimal matches from airport fund revenues.
Two items appear to involve the transfer of Civic Center funds left over from completed projects to be used for others, including grease traps in prep kitchens and the roll-up door of the South Exhibit Hall.
Updates to Board and Commission appointments, and changes to the City of Amarillo Organizational Structure are noted among the Discussion Items.
Public Comment will be heard. The meeting can be streamed live at amarillo.gov and the City’s YouTube channel, youtube.com/cityofamarillo.
