Texas Beef Council Announces New Board Of Directors
The Texas Beef Council has announced its Board of Directors for fiscal year 2026, which officially began October 1. The twenty directors, nominated by producer organizations or industry organizations from across the state, represent the diverse voices of Texas cattlemen and women. The group convened for its first meeting on November 20, focusing on strategies to continue building beef demand through innovative programs. The Executive Committee is chaired by Brandalyn Richards of Hereford with members Shannon Treichel of Canyon, Kara Dudley of Horseshoe Bay, Brian Malear of Harwood and member at large Paul Shields, past chairman of Bryan. The Directors are Leslie Callahan of Dripping Springs, John Cannaway of Brookesmith, Brandon Cutrer of Wharton, Klazina De Boer Of Dublin, Dane Elliott of Pawnee, George Harrison of Bay City, Amy Kirkland of Vega, Sarah McKenzie of Fort Stockton, John Van De Pol of Amherst and Kerry Wiggins of Austin. First-Term Directors are David Baumann of Canyon, Jan Elliott of Uvalde, Lauren Lyssy of Stockdale, Karrie Menz of the Colony and James Uhl of Fort McKavett.
