New Panhandle Transit to Open with a Sod Poodle Pregame Party

With the start of the Amarillo Sod Poodles’ season coming soon, Panhandle Rides are joining in on the fun with the launch of their new website for local transit. 

Collaborating with Amarillo City Transit and Panhandle Community Services, the site will kickoff with a tailgate party to get ready for Opening Day against the Midland RockHounds on Friday April 8th at 7pm.

Free bus rides will be given from Canyon and Eastridge Elementary Schools to the tailgate party at Hodgetown, sponsored by FirstBank Southwest. 

Free food and drinks will be available, and for each person to reserve their bus ride, they will also receive a free lawn ticket to the game. 

The party will be from 5-7pm, with the first pitch set for 7:05 pm.
