A local Sheriff’s Office is getting a new tool to help fight crime in their community.
The Hutchinson County Sheriff’s Office is rolling out a newly approved Crime Stoppers program.
The program will help them find people with warrants and solve high profile crimes and narcotic cases where people don’t typically send in tips.
The Office has been working to develop this new Crime Stoppers which will serve only Hutchinson County.
For now, the program is being funded by the community, but in the future, they are looking into more options.
If you would like to donate to the new program reward fund, you can call the Hutchinson County Sheriff’s Office and ask for Corporal Vargas.
The new Crimes Stoppers should be up and running by May or June
