New City Manager Start Date Moved Up

Of note on the agenda for Tuesday’s City Council meeting is that incoming City Manager Grayson Path’s start date has been moved up from August 12 to the 29th of this month.

If approved – and it is expected to be – the City will amend Path’s agreement to reflect the date change. This means Path will also leave his current position as City Manager of Paris, Texas sooner than expected as well.

The other item of note is the final one listed, which is the Presentation of Certificate and Statement by the Sanctuary City for the Unborn initiating committee to the council. This will be the catalyst to place this ordinance on the November 5 ballot, thus, putting it into the hands of the voter.
