New Bus Terminal

A new bus terminal is headed Amarillo’s way.
Thanks to donated land and raised funds a new Multi- modal terminal will be built to house Amarillo City Transit, Greyhound, Panhandle Transit, and Cord Care transportation.
The new terminal will be located near the Rock Island trail by SW 6th street and Bowie.
Amarill Transit officials also say they’ll also redesign routes to cut trip times, and the new building is following the trend in larger cities across the nation.
The site of the new building is currently vacant, but by fall of 2022 it should be in operation with about an expected 2-hundred thousand people passing through each year.
