National Kart Race Comes to Amarillo

The first Texas Sprint Racing Series is being held in Amarillo this weekend from Friday to Sunday, the first national race for race karting at the Amarillo Kart Complex.

Twelve different racing classes will compete on a 0-point-9 circuit with 19 turns all weekend long.

Friday is designated as practice session day and is open to the public while Saturday and Sunday are live racing throughout the day, and pit passes will be available each and every day.

U.S. and international racers from five to 70 years old will be competing.
