Amarillo Freedom Fund Banquet
The Amarillo Branch of the NAACP is looking for art submissions from the public for the Black History Month art show and sale.
All submissions have to be in by Wednesday, Feb. 21 and the artist must agree to donate 10% of sale proceeds to the branch.
The art show and sale is on Sunday, Feb. 25 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Black Historical Cultural Center.
Other activities planned for the show include readings by community members, brisket plates for $15, a dessert sale, a gift basket drawing, and a 50/50 drawing.
