Motorcycle Wreck

A Saturday motorcycle wreck in Southwest Amarillo has left a man with life-threatening injuries.

Amarillo Police say at 12:32 a.m. police were called to a wreck at Southwest 34th and Western Streets, where they found a 29-year-old man injured.

They say he was riding a  2007 Harley-Davidson, when he failed to stay in a single lane, forcing the bike to smash into the concrete center median.

He was not wearing a helmet. and APD says speed and alcohol are major factors in the wreck. The traffic investigation unit is still looking into the crash..
