Motorcycle Accident Sends Man To Hospital with Life-threatening Injuries

One man is facing life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle accident on Saturday evening.

Amarillo police were sent to the intersection of South West 34th & Bell Street at around 8:45 p.m. where they found that a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 58-year-old male, had been southbound on South Bell approaching 34th.

The rider lost control of the bike causing him to skid into the intersection.

He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The rider was not wearing a helmet and speed may be a factor in the accident.

The Amarillo Police Department Traffic Investigation Squad continues to work on this crash.
