Most Americans Sleep 6-8 Hours Every Night.

A recent online poll of over 2,000 people says that most Americans (70%) sleep 6-8 hours every night. Many factors can affect how long you sleep every night. Health, temperature, children, your bed partner and noise can cause you to not sleep as much as you would like. I try to go to bed around 8:30 or 9pm because my alarm clock goes off at 4am.  It gets harder for me to fall asleep as we move further into the summer months because of daylight saving time. Not getting enough sleep can leave you “cranky” and it can also affect your mental and physical health.
