More than 800 Animals Receive Free Microchips

More than 800 animals in the Amarillo community can now more easily find their way home thanks to Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare.

Throughout October, AAMW provided free pet microchips as part of the “Return to Home Challenge” with the Maddie’s Fund organization.

A total of 809 animals were microchipped free of charge by AAMW.

Cinergy Entertainment participated by providing a prize to the AAMW officer who microchipped the highest number of animals.
