Red Sox Cruise Past Rangers

(Arlington, TX) — Chris Sale struck out 12 over seven innings of one-run ball as the Red Sox cruised past the Rangers 6-1 in Arlington. Doug Fister surrendered all six runs over six-and-a-third to take the loss for Texas against his former club. Ryan Rua broke up the shutout with a solo home run in the seventh. Texas fell to 13-and-23 with its third-straight loss.

Day birdied two of his final three holes to post a two-under 69 in Sunday’s final round and finish 12-under for the tournament. Phil Mickelson tied for fifth place at seven-under, while Tiger Woods struggled and ended in a tie for 55th at plus-two.

Cowboys Open Rookie Minicamp Friday

(Frisco, TX) — The Cowboys open their three-day rookie minicamp on Friday at the Star in Frisco. All nine draft picks along with 18 undrafted free agent players will be present along with multiple tryout players and eligible non-rookies. At least 40 players in total are expected to be present.
