Missing Amarillo Woman *UPDATE*

Miranda Montanez called a family member on May 1st, and officials say she is now home and safe.

She has been presumed missing and endangered since April.

Her family had not heard from her since that call and presumed she was in danger.

Amarillo Police are looking for a woman missing since April 26.

26-year-old Miranda Jasmine Montanez had been reported missing that same day.

She did have familial contact by phone on May 1st and was removed from the missing person list, but the woman has not been heard from since.

Police believe she could be in danger

Her last known address was in Amarillo, but her current location is unknown

Montanez is described as being 5 feet-three inches tall and 120 pounds.
