McDonald’s Gives Back Day To Help CASA

After huge support from the panhandle, McDonalds across the panhandle will be hosting the 1st Gives Back Day of 2021.

McDonald’s locations in Amarillo, Canyon, Dumas, Dalhart and Borger will be giving a portion of all purchases at these locations will be donated to CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates, which serves hundreds of kids in the community each year.

“CASA plays a critical role in the lives of area children by acting as an advocate for them in court,” explains McDonald’s Director of Marketing Brandon Clavel. “McDonald’s is proud to support this amazing community organization and its mission to help some of our most vulnerable residents.”

McDonald’s Gives Back Day was created during the onset of the Pandemic as a way to help panhandle area charities that may be seeing a decline in donations due to COVID-19 and other factors.

This is the third McDonald’s Gives Back Day coordinated since March of 2020.

So far, more than $10,000 has been donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Amarillo and Faith City Mission of Amarillo.

McDonald’s Gives Back Day will be held Tuesday, January 26th
