Mayor, City Council To Meet, Discuss City Manager Miller

The Amarillo City Council will have its regular meeting Tuesday at 3pm.
Listed among the agenda items are zoning and easement matters, street and alley sealing and related supplies and services.
There is also an advertising annual contract with the Amarillo Globe News for $91,500.00 that the city provides use of by various departments.
However, it is the Executive Work Session that will take place at 1 Tuesday afternoon that is stirring interest. The mayor and city council will discuss what that agenda describes as the appointment, employments, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee. The only name listed on that agenda is City Manager, Jared Miller.
