Martin Road Lake Gets Upgrade

Martin Road Lake will undergo the final two phases of a multimillion dollar improvement project.

Amarillo City Council approved $10.8 million on January 11th for Phase 3 and Phase 4 of the improvement project.

The final two phases of the improvement project include new storm drain systems, walking trails with neighborhood connections, site security and parking improvements.

A highlight of the project includes a new fishing pond.

The design will be complete by the summer of 2023.
