We saw soybeans find some buying strength, possibly a bit of buying from traders after the big drop on Friday and some spread unwinding from the moves seen to end last week. Corn and wheat were relatively flat on the session in some of that spread trade with little fresh news to work off of. Stocks, energies and livestock all had solid days. We discuss the market trade today with John Heinberg of Total Farm Marketing. Learn more online by going to https://www.totalfarmmarketing.com.
Also, hard to believe it is the first week of October! Eric Snodgrass of Nutrien joins us to discuss the open harvest window, how long it will last, more frost potential and a cold shot later this week and much more. Lastly in segment four, Jesse Allen has a look at news headlines and we listen back to our Midday Commentary with Arlan Suderman of StoneX for his thoughts on Monday’s trade action to start the month of October.
