An Indiana community stepped up to help a man pay for an expensive surgery that saved his dog’s life. Randy Etter was told that had a low chance of survival if a blockage wasn’t removed from his dog Gemini’s intestines. Etter put his car up for sale, but that still wasn’t going to be enough to cover the surgery’s costs. The S.O.A.R Initiative (Street Outreach Animal Response) raised nearly $3,000 to cover the procedure and got him help from a surgeon. Gemini is expected to make a full recovery. (Fox)
