Man Killed In Saturday Night Pedestrian Versus Car Incident

A man was killed Saturday night in a  pedestrian versus car incident on Osage Street.

On January 21, at 8:03 pm, APD officers were called to the scene in the 2700 block of  South  Osage Street  to a major crash involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian

A 2005 Mercury Montego driven by a 71-year-old woman, was traveling south on Osage when  32-year-old Hayden Paul Ducommun was walking across Osage, not at an intersection or at a crosswalk, and was hit by the car.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, The driver of the car was not charged and Police said alcohol is a factor in this incident.
