Man hit Trying To Cross I-40

A Friday morning accident left one man critically injured when he was struck by a vehicle on I-40 in Amarillo.
Police report at 6;48 a.m.they were called to the accident at I-40 and Paramount.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
All westbound traffic at the scene had to be diverted while police investigated the crash
